You must have heard of 360nobs.com. If you haven’t, you should. Except you live in a cave which is no mean excuse since you have internet access there. Noble Igwe founded 360nobs. Born in Aba, in 1982 as Noble Chibuzor Igwe, Noble Igwe has carved a comfortable niche for himself in the blogosphere. Here are five facts about the star blogger for you.

1. He didn’t found 360nobs alone

He might be the figurehead, he is the CEO of the 360 Group, but he didn’t found the company alone. He has accomplices.  Oye Akideinde and Abimbola Tonia Soares are part of the founding gang. These are no pushovers. Oye Akideinde is the regional director of Boomplay Music, a platform he is reputed to have built from the scratch. According to Bellanaija, Oye has “over 17 years of experience working with top brands in consumer goods, eBusiness, financial, creative, media and digital sectors.”

On her part, Abimbola hides from public glare. She might say, she might be those kinds of nerds who are better working with an aura of invisibility. Her profile on 360nobs.com speaks toward this direction: “If you look hard enough, you’ll get my bio but here is a teaser, I never sleep so I dream with my eyes open to serve you the best 360nobs.com experience. I am all about what you see.”

2. Noble Igwe got mentioned in Falz “This is Nigeria”

In May 2018, Noble Igwe stirred the pot of discord and social media scorn when he tweeted: “EFCC needs to have a waiter stationed at every club in VI and Lekki. Online stores and stores on Admiralty/Fola Osibo in Lekki are all used for money laundering.” He was dragged on Social Media for more than forty-eight hours. The name callings must have threatened to fell a certain bandwidth in him as Noble came out to tweet clarifications. “Not all Record Labels, shops on Osibo/Admiralty Way is a front for fraud as there are people in these businesses that are legit,” he wrote. He rounded up thus: “We are a society that we live in and we can either make it better or leave it worse.”

If Social Media made him feel worse, Falz made him feel better by mentioning Noble Igwe in his song in a way that suggests his sympathy lies with the blogger. “Yahoo Yahoo don tear everywhere/Now we act like it’s cool/Casting the P being castigated for trying to be noble.”

Falz is not the only artiste to defend Noble Igwe. Earlier, Simi had taken to Instagram to side with the blogger. “Did I miss something? Why are there so many people defending it [fraud] against Noble? Am I crazy because if we are thinking like this, don’t we deserve whatever mess we find ourselves in?” Yet “We complain about how the rest of the world sees and treats us.”

3. The tech guru is a showbusiness man

Noble Igwe once said when people talk showbiz, he sees showBIZ. True to this statement, Noble Igwe has piled a lot of money of showBIZ. His sojourn into the showbusiness world began when he was with Virgin Nigeria as Events and Sponsorship Coordinator where he had contacts with many artistes and celebrities. From there, Noble Igwe had a short stint with 141Worldwide advertising agency before he proceeded to Mo Hits Music Label where he worked with D’banj and Don Jazzy as their PR Officer. M.I and Banky W are two notable artistes he worked with when he left Mo Hits.

Today, Noble Igwe has expanded well above showbusiness. He does nearly everything. 360 Group is made up of 360 Limited which runs 360nobs.com, Stylevitae.com, 360Management, 360Productions, SLU and 360 Delivery Limited.360 TV, 360 Life Foundation projects Noble Igwe admitted were on his agenda.

4. Noble Igwe is an Igbo accent champion

In December 2016, Igwe was involved with a fan whose comment he took as an affront of Igbo accent. The fan @DuchesssssA had tweeted “Today is the first time I listened to you. Thank God for your style.” In less than a quarter of an hour, the blogger fired a shot at her. “Leave God out of it, Igbo accent is no disability. I’m proud of it and not ashamed, inugo?”

Considering that she didn’t mention his accent, only one thing can explain this aggressive response; it is either Noble is insecure about his accent or he is a diehard champion. We root for the latter. Noble once said, “I like to tell people ‘I’m that Igbo boy with an Igbo accent who likes to make money.”

5. He is a sharp dresser

If you are into fashion, if you love men who know how to wear their clothes, Noble Igwe is one person you should stalk on Social Media. Not every big boy has charge over their outfit and not every lifestyle writer is stylish. Igwe ticks these boxes. “I like to play with colours,” he once said in an interview. “Be it a tie, pocket square, anything.”
