The administration of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has suffered another major blow as the Secretary to the Ondo State Government, Mr. Ifedayo Abegunde, has resigned his appointment.
Anaedoonline.com understands that the SSG tendered his resignation letter on Monday morning.
He however refused to give any reason for quitting the administration of Governor Akeredolu. Abegunde confirmed that he has quit the Ondo State Government in a telephone chat with newsmen.

“I have left Akeredolu’s government through a resignation letter effective today,” he stated.
Abegunde said he would reveal more details on his resignation in a press conference later today.
Anaedoonline.com reports that Akeredolu’s Deputy, Ajayi Agboola, had earlier dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) and pitched his tent with the main opposition, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
However, The Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Hon Agboola Ajaji, has resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress {APC).
Ajayi resigned from the APC On Sunday at Ward 2, Apoi in Eseodo local government.
The Ondo Deputy Governor immediately picked membership card of the People’s Democratic Party immediately at his ward where he resigned.

It is speculated that nine members of the Ondo State House of Assembly would joined him to officially defect to the PDP on Monday.
The relationship between Ajayi and the state governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu went frosty some months ago and reached a crescendo penultimate week over irreconcilable differences.
Recall that Agboola was restricted from leaving his official quarters at the government house on Saturday night by police officers led by Bolaji Salami, commissioner of police.
