NCDC Reports 490 Cases Of Coronavirus In Nigeria, Toll Rise To 24, 567

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported fresh 490 cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Anaedoonline.com reports that the NCDC confirmed the new 490 cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria in a series of tweets on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Sunday evening, June 28.

According to the NCDC, of the four hundred and ninety new coronavirus cases recorded on Sunday evening, 118 were recorded in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, Delta-84 Ebonyi-68 FCT-56 Plateau-39 Edo-29 Katsina-21 Imo-13 Ondo-12 Adamawa-11 Osun-8 Ogun-8 Rivers-6 Kano-5 Enugu-3 Bauchi-3 Akwa Ibom-3 Kogi-1 Oyo-1 Bayelsa-1, south-south Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: “490 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-118 Delta-84 Ebonyi-68 FCT-56 Plateau-39 Edo-29 Katsina-21 Imo-13 Ondo-12 Adamawa-11 Osun-8 Ogun-8 Rivers-6 Kano-5 Enugu-3 Bauchi-3 Akwa Ibom-3 Kogi-1 Oyo-1 Bayelsa-1 24,567 confirmed 9,007 discharged 565 deaths,” the tweet added.

The development means the number of cases of coronavirus in Nigeria has risen to twenty-four thousand, five hundred and sixty-seven (24,567) with nine thousand and seven (9,007) people discharged and five hundred and sixty-five (565) deaths recorded.
