As social media is buzzing with the alleged death of former Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi. The media aide of the Oyo senator, Bola Tunji has described the news of the sudden ‘death’ as untrue.

Ajimobi who was recently appointed as the Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress by the National Working Committee of the party died due to Coronavirus complications.
The former lawmaker fell ill after testing positive to Coronavirus and was reported to be in a critical condition before the time of his death.

He ruled Oyo State for eight years before he was appointed by Adams Oshiomhole as the Deputy National Chairman (South-West) of APC.
