TB Joshua: Three Prophecies Of The Prophet That Failed To Come To Pass

The most difficult job in Nigeria right now is that of the prophet if in doubt ask Prophet TB Joshua. Sometimes, I feel that God might just be gisting with Nigerian prophets and they will just run to Church and announce a hurried prophecy. Sometimes, God might just be pulling their legs and they can’t even see that he is smiling and they won’t wait to hear Him say ‘na joke o’ because they are in a hurry to play Elijah on the mountain. And, very likely, it is not God who talked to them. Maybe Gody the mechanic. Maybe Godiya the hairdresser. Or one of the twenty thousand gods roaming African huts in search of worshippers told them.

Predicting politics and global events have disgraced so many ministries. Some people predicted that Atiku will win the Nigerian election in 2019 and Atiku lost and they are still alive and they still have members. And their members still believe them, still give offering. That is the beauty of our prophets, they fall many times and they rise again, with their tongues scratching to join the debate, to prove what point?

You can’t cuss them. After all, no one has ever gone to hell or prison on the strength of the veracity of his prophecies.

So should we stone anybody for predicting that the deadly coronavirus will disappear on the 27th of March? He who has never believed a fake prophecy before, let him cast the first stone. But, from now henceforward, I will be watching Emmanuel TV with one kain eye. And whenever coronavirus is mentioned, many people will unconsciously remember Synagogue and leer. Chai. This is a real mess. Here are other prophecies of the cleric that failed to come to pass

1. When He Predicted that Hillary Clinton Will Win 2016 Presidential Elections

“Ten days ago I saw the president of America with a narrow win… What I frankly saw was a woman,” it said. Maybe God spoke to TB Joshua with an American accent. ‘The election will gonna be won by a human’ and he thought he said ‘woman’. Human not woman.

This prophecy caused a stir online and Nigerians dragged the cleric for hours before the official Twitter handle of the ministry pulled the tweet down.

2. Biafra: There is going to be a great Nation coming out from Nigeria

TB joshua once prophesied of predicted in a viral video that Biafra independence was around the corner. The prophecy/prediction was fiery.

“There is a great nation going out from Nigeria, before October this year” This prophecy was echoed with Biafra Biafra by the Igbos in his church. And the man of God laughed and said this year is a Biafra year. I saw it clearly in my vision.” This is 2020 and it is easier for a needle to pass through a camels eyes than Biafra actualization coming to fruition.

3. When he Predicted World War III

In 2011, TB Joshua made a prophecy that as soon as Israel strikes Iran, the world cannot escape World War III. But the media team of the church debunked the rumours seeing that it is nay impossible for World War III to come if Israel had attacked Iran.

“There is currently a rumour circulating that on Sunday 11th December 2011, TB Joshua predicted a third world war.

CORRECTION: Prophet T.B. Joshua did not say that there would be a third world war. He did not say that civilisation would be gone. We should be very careful about changing a prophetic message to suit our own philosophy or our own world view.”

In his latest prophecies, TB Joshua prophesied about the end of coronavirus. In fact, the prophecy was accompanied with a date 27th March 2020, however, on the date he announced, five new people tested positive to the virus and the numbers keep soaring on a daily. Perhaps TB doesnt make controversial prophecies, people fail to understand him or so it seems.
