Israel is a small country in the middle East, located on the eastern shores of the Mediterranean Sea and bordered by four countries like Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. Despite being small with a relatively low population of about 8million people, the Country since its independence has become a force to reckon with in terms of military strength.
Today, Israel boasts one of the most technologically advanced military stockpiles in the world. However, there are areas of strength which make Israel Defense Force (IDF) formidable, these areas include:
1. Weaponry
Israel is known for developing some of its own military equipment and augmenting the best foreign technology. The military equipment includes an array of arms, artillery, missiles, Planes, Helicopters, and Warships. Some of the technology used by the IDF are; Merkavas,F-15I Thunder, Jericho III, and Dolphin(submarine).
They is also believed to possess nuclear weapons but has not publicly admitted it.

2. Military Personnel
The IDF has invested so much into its Armed forces and this has led to the creation of fantastic Soldiers. The IDF has developed systems of training and recruitment, to field some of the most reliable and capable Soldiers in the world. Without the dedicated, smart and well-trained Operators none of the technologies above would work or function at their fullest potential.
3. Allies
Israel is known to have a very solid relationship with the World’s most powerful Country, United States of America. The USA provides foreign aid of about $3.1 billion annually for Israel. Other notable allies of Israel are Mexico, Canada, Egypt, Jordan, and India.
Considering the effectiveness of their weaponry and expertise of those who wield them, it is evident that Israel is no country to mess with.
