Igwe Ojoto Disrupts Burial, Sets Pace For Coronavirus Prevention In Anambra

His Royal Majesty, Igwe Gerald Obunadike Mbamalu, Igwe Ojoto has joined the fight against coronavirus outbreak in his community Ojoto in Idemili South LGA. He stormed burials, disrupted activities, and ordered attending guests to go to their homes and practice social distancing.

The Igwe in his wisdom deliberately made the rounds himself to avoid task force going against his directives that might cause chaos.

He stormed up to three or more locations where burials were held and ordered everyone who is not a member of the deceased’s immediate family to leave.

“We do not have test kits here, we do not know who is infected and who is not…. I did not give permission for any of these gatherings to hold, therefore I order everyone to leave” He asserted.

It was gathered by anaedoonline.com that HRM who has the interest of Ndi Ojoto and Ndi Anambra at heart has expressed his disappointment at the laissez-faire attitude his people show towards the coronavirus outbreak and the risks they deliberately exposed themselves to.

He lamented on their lack of compliance to the government’s directives and the ensuing complacency.

In Anambra, the people are abreast of the situation on ground as information has been dispersed accordingly, however, the people are still stubborn to carry out their scheduled affairs with very minimal caution or protective measures.

The Igwe has seen the devastating consequence of not adhering to social distancing and has deployed strategic means to force their hands.
