Senator Samuel Anyanwu has urge the people of Imo state especially the Peoples Democratic Party PDP

has said if the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, fails to pick up it’s pieces and embark on measures to keep the party together, “there may not be PDP again in Imo State”

In a video interview, Anyanwu also drummed support for Governor Hope Uzodinma saying he is a Governor for all, not “Governor for Uzodinma family or Governor of Orlu Zone”

He said the Governor deserves all the support because he has the capacity to develop Imo State and ensure human and infrastructural development.

The were clear indications that a plot to expel Senator Samuel Anyanwu from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP may have hit the rocks just as those perceived to have ” sabotaged the party” are to be weeded out via forthcoming congresses of the party.

He reportedly said at the party’s stakeholders meeting held on Sunday at the State party Secretariat “On Senator Samuel Anyanwu (Sam Daddy), the party insisted that the case of expulsion of the former Senator followed Due Process and met all the Discplinary measures before the expulsion was effected.

The renewed onslaught against Senator Anyanwu began in Imo PDP as Congress to elect fresh officers of the party draws near.

There are indications that those sympathetic to former Governor Emeka Ihedioha are pulling strings to ensure only those loyal to the former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives eventually hold forte from the wards to the State levels of the party.

A source in the party told this newspaper ” Operation flush is ongoing in the party. It’s all about politics of 2023″
