The Three Gorges Dam in China which is a hydroelectric Powered gravity dam that expands all through the Yangtze River by the town of Sandouping, in Yiling District, Yichang, Hubei province, China.
The Three Gorges Dam has been the world’s largest power station in terms of it’s installed capacity (22,500 MW) since 2012.

The Three Gorges dam which was built so as to prevent flooding. The need for a dam was taken into consideration in 1954 when citizens and inhabitants of China were killed as a result of flooding of the Yangtze River. The necessity of building a dam became a priority.

The dam which runs across the Yangtze River makes it possible to control the flow of water.

The construction of this dam which cost the life of more than 100 workers who were killed during the construction of China’s huge Three Gorges Dam which still was brought into completion despite opposition. The worker casualties were announced during a dedication ceremony Saturday. May 21, 2006.

This dam causing the slowing down of Earth’s rotation is not a mere fiction, fantasy nor myth but based on the fact that earth spins in one direction and the force of the water is going in the opposite direction like pushing in opposite directions but it’s only slowed the earth rotation by like half a second though.
